What Would Andy Do?

Arkansas’ current GOP candidate for the US Senate recently referred to Senator Chuck Schumer (Jew-NY) as "that Jew." What Jewdar truly loves about screw-ups like this is the explanation that invariably follows, and as per usual, we were not disappointed.

According to State Senator Kim Hendren, "At the meeting I was trying to point out that, unlike Senator Schumer, I believe in traditional values, like we used to see on The Andy Griffith Show."

Jewdar watched a lot of Andy Griffith growing up, and can’t recall the episode where he started ranting about the Jews. Moreover, as his appearance in an ad for Obama might suggest, Andy’s values may be closer to "that Jew’s" than to Hendren’s.

What do you think?

Brilliant writing, as usual, Jewdar!! Insightful, funny–what more can I say?? And believe me, that fact that I’m your mother doesn’t influence this critique at all. But now let’s go onto something really important. Is Adam Lambert Jewish?

I’m thinking of adopting “that Jew” as my moniker from here on out.
