What Hitler Has to Say About the Roseanne Cookie Controversy

(Watch the Video After The Jump)

It seems that Hitler isn’t happy with his portrayal in the Germany Issue, but strangely it’s not Heeb Magazine, or even Roseanne Barr, he’s upset with.

"It’s not Roseanne Barr’s fault that she slightly resembles me," said the dictator in the above video. "The wait staff at Carnegie Deli are constantly confusing me for her. Always asking me where Darlene is now."

The coverage the story received from Extra‘s Mario Lopez, however, has the Führer in a frenzy: "He can intro a clip in such a way that can ruin any dictator… One little smirk from him and I’ll shit sauerkraut."

What do you think?

What is wrong with your magazine? Joking about Hitler and the Holocaust isn’t funny.

No? Never? I disagree. I think this is a pretty good example of it being funny.

Is the genocide in Darfur funny?
I don’t think there are any examples of mass homicides being funny.

According to you, Shayna, a joke about rings being handed out during the Darfur Genocide…would be funny.
    Hypocrite much?

In the write context, it would be funny. It wouldn’t be making fun of the victims of the Genocide.

And what context is that, Shayna? You don’t seem to know.
You say it’s “because they didn’t hand out rings”…well, they didn’t make Gingerbread either. And you’re NOW saying that jokes about genocide can be funny…despite saying in multiple previous

When you look at the pictures, do you think of a nice Jewish grandmother making cookies, or Hitler putting Jews in an oven? It’s obviously the latter, so get over the gingerbread thing.

    There’s nothing satirical about.
Honestly, I don’t understand why you’re dragging on the ring joke. It’s completely different. Let me sidetrack for a minute. Would it be funny if there was a photoshoot of a black guy hanging a younger black guy? What if i

Ooohh…nice try…almost got there, but your logic (or lack thereof) fails you again.
Your argument (as nebulous as it is) is that the joke is not funny because it REFERENCES the Holocaust…but then you seem to allow some jokes to reference the Holocau

I wouldn’t say I’m offended, I think disturbed is the right word. I’m disturbed that Jewish people, probably like you, run magazines showing someone wearing a swastika. A swastika is a symbol of 6 million deaths and shouldn’t be part of a joke.

People need to let up. It’s a joke. Stop being so serious.

PS Is it a bad thing to get people talking? At least Hitler and everything he did isn’t some forgotten deal that we are trying to pack up in a box and hide the the basement never to be revisit

“A swastika is a symbol of 6 million deaths” shayna19 says,

    Um…No?

The swastika was not invented by Hitler, Nazis, or Germany. It is an ancient symbol. It has been used in many cultures for thousands of years. It has never been a symbol of 6 million

    Possibilities to ponder:

-If hitler had used a rectangle, than the folks who designed my monitor might be nazis because my monitor is obviously, a nazi sign.

If hitler had used a bald eagle, or scales, or a key, or a fasci, would they symbolize 6 millio
