Six Appeal

Although some may imagine that the mark of true success is being mentioned in the _New York Times_, Jewdar has never been that impressed. How hard can it be? Be nominated by a major party to national office, win a Nobel prize, die after a lifetime of achievement–sure, these are important, but any newspaper will write about you for those things. But getting a positive mention on Page Six?

Last Friday, _Heeb_ managed to edge out the Hiltons and Lohans of the world to nab a spot in the Paper of Record (well, at least the paper of record of semi-literates like us). Coming on the heels of being tapped by the _Chicago Tribune_ as one of America’s fifty best magazines, Jewdar would strongly recommend that those reading this make strenuous efforts to avoid _Heeb_ editors for the next few days, as we’re even more sickeningly smug than usual.

What do you think?
