Looking for the perfect place to hold your son’s Bar Mitzvah? Well, according to The New York Post, Tuvia Stern locked down the most exclusive digs in town–literally. Stern, a wealthy New York inmate, convinced his correctional officers to let him have his son’s Bar Mitzvah in his lockup’s gym last December. Apparently, the wealthy scam artist was so happy with the way the event turned out that he held his daughter’s engagement party in the same venue.
Mayor Bloomberg put the kibosh on any future festivities today after he launched an investigation into the jailhouse coming-of-age ceremony. Serious party foul, Bloomberg. Serious party foul.
