Good for the Goys

You might have noticed the “PopJudaica”:http://www.chosencouture.com/index.html banner on our homepage this week. Formerly known as _ChosenCouture.com_, the site is a virtual museum for all that is Jewish and esoteric: from “Let My People Go Toilet Seat Covers”:http://www.chosencouture.com/chosen-product.php?model=toiletseat to “Jon Stewart for President T-shirts”:http://www.chosencouture.com/chosen-product.php?model=jonstewartw.

While we were exploring PopJudaica, we got to wondering whether there is anything out there like it serving Christian audiences. That’s when we found “_MissPoppy.com_”:http://www.misspoppy.com/, the one-stop-shop “for the saved and unsaved alike,” which features “After the Rapture Mints”:http://www.misspoppy.com/catalog/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=16407, the “Last Supper Lunch Box”:http://www.misspoppy.com/catalog/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=16458&cat=307&page=1 and our fave, the “Amish Car & Buggy Freshener”:http://www.misspoppy.com/catalog/xcart/customer/product.php?productid=16347&cat=312&page=1. Sort of kicking ourselves for not hitting up Miss Poppy for an ad in the Goy Issue….

What do you think?

I studied abroad in Ghana last year and Jesus is very trendy there. You often see shops called Jesus’ Blood Enterprise or signs that state: Jesus Loves Wi-Fi!

Now if only Jerusalem thought of commodifying Hashem, we’d be even richer. Hashem loves Wi-F

I’m sorry I missed the Pop Judaica.
It happens to be something I have a deep interest in…

This Gallery, of Pop Art is dedicated to digital prints that were inspired by my roots as a Jew, Israeli and Jerusalemite:
