Israeli model Esti Ginzburg is in the news for not wiggling her way out of her country’s mandatory military service. ("Unlike other Israeli celebrities," according to the bitchy voiceover in the video below. FYI, that means Bar Refaeli.) If the thought of this rail-thin 19-year-old model defending against terrorists doesn’t fill you with confidence, don’t worry. Ginzburg’s got a pretty safe gig. She’s representing the military at "information sessions where she speaks to Israeli high school students who visit the base . . . ”
Update: Israeli Major-General Avi Zamir, who clearly has a lot of time on his hands, is now going after Rafaeli. He’s calling for a boycott of all companies represented by the 37-year-old model, and he’s getting nasty about it, too: "At the end of the day, she is the one who has to look at herself in the mirror."
