The 9th District congressional race for Anthony Weiner’s vacated seat remains tight, and while David Weprin may have lost former Mayor Ed Koch’s endorsement to Bob Turner, his Twitter account boasts of support from a different former mayor, David Dinkins.
The only problem with this strategy is that the Jewish vote is crucial in this special election, and Dinkins is just not popular with the Jews.
Considering the circumstances that led to Weiner’s fall in the first place, perhaps a little more care should have gone into Weprin’s Twitter strategy.
