Sderotten

Now that our good friends in Hamas have announced an end to the "truce" and started to bombard Sderot again, Jewdar wants to voice our support for a recent proposal by a Likud MK. Gilad Erdan suggested that a prison be built in the area to house Hamas and Islamic Jihad prisoners. Now, doubtlessly, some would argue that this is a violation of their rights and so forth, but Jewdar would demur. This isn’t taking a civilian and using him as a human shield when you assault an enemy position; this is taking prisoners and moving them to another prison. If it places them in additional danger because they’d be exposed to the possibility of a Qassam rocket strike, well, there’s a pretty simple solution, isn’t there?

What do you think?

    Surely you jest :P
I’m doubtful there’s anything to be gained by sinking to the level of our enemies.
