Say It Ain’t So, HuffPo

You’ve probably already seen Max Blumenthal’s video of college -age Jews in Israel (presumably visiting from America) yammering hate speech, most of it so ill-informed that a card carrying Klansman would have trouble saying it with a straight face.

Predictably, the video continues to cause an uproar, particularly due to Blumenthal’s charge that the HuffingtonPost censored it. According to Blumenthal: “‘I don’t see that it has any real news value,’ the [HuffingtonPost] administrator told me. “For me it only proves that one can find drunk people willing to say just about anything.”

If what Blumenthal says is true shame on the Huffington Post, but all the same, I must admit I kinda wish HP had been around when I went to college. Maybe they could have silenced the “drunken people” who were screaming in my dormitory at 4 in the morning.

What do you think?

Seems to me a lot of those “Israeli” students were, in fact, American. The fact that there are stupid Americans is, indeed, without any real news value.
    Still…awkward :P

Despite that the interviewer smirks, while drunk people are yammering hate speak…the video earns its bonafides with the question to the political science major.

What’s with all the smoking? Jews leave the US for 10 minutes, and they regress back to the 1950s. Where’s Mayor Bloomberg when you need him. I’m telling.

BTW, Why no Yiddish insults? Boring.

It looks like he only chose to show the crazy, drunk people in the video.

Well, e-dogg, there clearly was some heavy editing done here. After all, barely *any* of the interview subjects bust out with the obligatory Israeli”eeeyyyyyyyyyyyy” in their speech. :)
