There’s really something to be said for a Jewish parody video that’s genuinely funny. They’re disappointingly few and far between amidst a sea of lame attempts. What makes a Jewish parody video actually good? It’s hard to say, really. The best I can do is tell you that it’s somewhere in the ballpark of Supreme Court Justice Stewart’s now-famous quip regarding pornography.
Whatever it is that makes a successful Jewish parody video, the folks at The Mavro Show have got “it”. Check out “Jewdo” – their riff on those 80’s martial arts training videos you thought would turn you into a combination of Daniel LaRusso and a Ninja Turtle (anyone but Donatello).
