Join Heeb For A (Free!) Advance Screening Of Jenny Slate’s “Obvious Child” On June 3rd!

Check it – We love Jenny Slate.

We loved her when she was on SNL (she swore!), we loved her when she was an adorable talking shell, and we love her in her new movie, Obvious Child.

Starring Slate as aspiring comedian Donna Stern, Obvious Child is the story of a one night stand, an unexpected pregnancy, and what happens when when you’re thrust into the real world of independent adulthood. Think Knocked Up, only instead Katherine Heigl’s “acting,” you spend two hours being utterly charmed by Jenny friggin’ Slate.

Take a look:

Great, right?

So, beneficent publication that we are, we want you to see Obvious Child before it opens in wide release on June 6th. That’s why we’re hosting not one but two advance screenings, in New York and LA.

Here’s the deal:

On Monday, June 3rd, you are invited to a 7pm free advance screening of Obvious Child at one of the following locations:

New York

Tuesday, June 3 @ 7pm
Angelika Theater
18 W Houston Street

Los Angeles

Tuesday, June 3 @ 7pm
10850 W Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064

You can reserve tickets for either screening here – they’re totally free! – and will be given on a “first come/first serve” basis. Only people with advance passes will be allowed in, so make sure you’ve got yours registered before the 3rd!

That’s it – See you on the 3rd!

Obvious Child (Rooks Nest Entertainment, Sundial Pictures, Votiv Films) is written and directed by Gillian Robespierre. Starring Jenny Slate, Jake Lacy, Gaby Hoffmann Richard Kind and David Cross, Obvious Child opens nationwide on June 6th.
