Check it – We love Jenny Slate.
We loved her when she was on SNL (she swore!), we loved her when she was an adorable talking shell, and we love her in her new movie, Obvious Child.
Starring Slate as aspiring comedian Donna Stern, Obvious Child is the story of a one night stand, an unexpected pregnancy, and what happens when when you’re thrust into the real world of independent adulthood. Think Knocked Up, only instead Katherine Heigl’s “acting,” you spend two hours being utterly charmed by Jenny friggin’ Slate.
Take a look:
Great, right?
So, beneficent publication that we are, we want you to see Obvious Child before it opens in wide release on June 6th. That’s why we’re hosting not one but two advance screenings, in New York and LA.
