Superman? Super-Jew.
X-Men? X-Jews.
Batman…well, you get the idea.
Except, it turns out the Caped Crusader really is Jewish. As reported by Crownheights.info:
While visiting a terminally ill girl from his community, Shliach [Communal emissary] in Coral Springs Rabbi Avraham Friedman encountered the fictional character batman in the flesh, who was also visiting terminal patients and raising their sprits…
… The Rabbi reacted in surprise, to which the masked man said “Yes! I am a member of the tribe too!”
What happened next was pretty genuinely touching.

UPDATE: Well, looks like we were wrong. The above image was actually taken in Florida, as reported by Chai Lifeline. This means that there are two tefillin-wearing Batmen out there visiting hospitals (Or, one Batman who pulls double duty between Brooklyn and Florida.)

RAFISS, if you read the story reported by crownheights.info, it says it’s about the Chabad Shliach in Florida. Folks, what’s so bad about two places reporting the same thing? You’re making a machlokes when there isn’t one. More than that, if there IS two Batman (men??) doing it, then kol hadavod, no?

well clearly this “editor” didnt even pay attention to what he was copy and pasting or he wouldn’t think and insist coral springs was the same as crown heights brooklyn. the photo itself came from one place, the story came from another. its the same batman in both stories in the same place. he has been in the news alot lately.
