At last week’s Denver Comic Con, Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner, sat down with a group of grade schoolers to give what has to be one of the one of the weirdest readings of Maurice Sendak’s “Where The Wild Things Are” of all time. But watch and you might find yourself falling for Shatner’s uniquely insane, and utterly charming, brand of over-enthusiasm. He just wants kids to love reading as much as he does! Admittedly he gets a little mixed up when it comes to the book’s title (Where are the wild things, anyways?) But hey, he’s Shatner, dammit! He’s been turning statements into questions since before most of you were born.
So, get yourself a juice box and sit back, because we’re gonna boldly go where no one has gone before – To story time, with Bill Shatner
