Hat Power

You know it’s getting close to Passover when the Associated Press starts running culturally-inclusive stories about yarmulke fashion. According to the story, now sports logos and and television characters routinely appear on the Jewish head covering, the religious object has officially entered the realm of commercialism.

Reminds me of that Todd Barry joke in which the droll comic spots a guy wearing a yarmulke that looks like a slice of watermelon and opines that if God doesn’t mind him wearing a yarmulke that looks like a slice of watermelon, then he probably wouldn’t mind if the guy didn’t wear a yarmulke at all.

What do you think?

I’m thinking advertising slogans here. ( infinite possibilities! )
    one example,
a berry-red yarmulke that has the words
    Udi’s BE UDIFUL Cranberry Granola
