If you’re of a certain age, and certain musical disposition, there was a time when it was next-to-impossible to escape moody rockers-turned-moody-electronica-rockers Radiohead. They were unavoidable – especially if you were anywhere near a small liberal arts college, in which case – game over, pal – they’re the soundtrack to your life, whether you like it or not. Sorry, creep.
Still, for all their overblown pretentiousness and rock posturing, they did crank out some pretty fantastic songs – perhaps none more so than 1997’s “Karma Police” off their mega-smash album O.K. Computer. That’s why we’re diggin’ the gorgeous middle eastern spin on the song in this debka cover by Tel Aviv musicians Rotem Shefy and Leat Sabbah. Check it out:

Illbot, It’s supposed to be pretentious. Their Soundcloud says it’s “[a] satirical arrangement recorded with an exaggerated Arabic accent, mixed with unison oud (middle-eastern instrument), cello x5, and percussion instruments.” So there. As someone said in the video comments, arrest this man for replaying this over and over…
