Giving Thanks

Not since Mandy Patinkin and Barbra “locked payis”:http://www.bjsmusic.com/Yentl15/ has there been a collaboration between Jewish legends even remotely approaching this one.The Master of the Universe must have listening to Jewdar’s prayers, because Adam Sandler (a legend because of the “The Hanukkah Song”), Judd Apatow (a legend because he employs actors who look like Jonah Hill), Robert Smigel (a legend because he knows those other guys) have penned _Don’t Mess With the Zohan_, about a Mossad agent (Sandler) who fakes his own death in order to start life over again as a New York hairstylist. To be sure, Jewdar’s efforts to find the defining Jewish film of our life have been foiled “in the past”:http://www.ekklesia.co.uk/content/news_syndication/article_2004_03_19_macc.shtml, but we’re certain that this movie is one for which we’ll truly be thankful.
