Ex- _SNL_ Cast Member Claims Sexism, Drama, Lies, Betrayal and Rape

OK, I’m lying, nothing that interesting ever happens on Saturday Night Live. Yet, rumors were swirling last week that two fresh-faced comediennes had been added to the SNL lineup, Nasim Pedrad and Jenny Slate. Just when I started to worry about my boyfriend (Andy Samberg) getting caught in a snatch fest, news spread that Michaela Watkins and Casey Wilson had been cut from the cast. Ohhhh, the horror! And now,Michaela Watkins is talking about her departure, saying:

"The only explanation I got from [Lorne Michaels]–and he’s not known to say things just to make people feel better–was that he felt deep down that I should have my own show. And I agreed."

Home girl, get real! This is just the work version of, "It’s not you, it’s me." Or maybe Lorne thought you were surfing the crimson wave and needed to soften the blow. (Don’t worry, I’m a female, I can say sexist things like this.) Besides, if Andy Samberg doesn’t get his own show, you sure as hell don’t deserve one.

What do you think?

Mickey is a very talented comedian and a wonderful person. I’m sorry it didn’t work out, and that Heeb saw fit to throw salt in my friend’s wounds.

    Oh you’rre too sensitive.
She’s a comedian, allegedly, I’m assuming she has a sense of humour.
And let’s be honest, someone saying “Oh they dumped me ‘cos they thought I really needed my own show” is really asking for it :P

It’s almost as bad when you ask tag heuer watches voters how the law will affect them personally. There is lots of doubt and some considerable belief or hope that the new law won’t affect them
