Courtney Love Loses Custody of Daughter, Parenting May Be to Blame

A Los Angeles court ruled yesterday that Courtney Love is no longer entitled to legal custody of her daughter Frances Bean. The spawn of the late Kurt Cobain will be put in temporary care with Cobain’s mother, Wendy O’Connor, and his sister Kimberly Dawn Cobain.

In an interview with Heeb earlier this year, Love bragged about her parenting skills: "You know, I’m not like ‘cool mom.’ I’m a mother. I’m not like, ‘Oh, honey, if you’re going to do that, do it at home.’ I’m more like, ‘You’re not going to do that, so, fuck off, or I’m taking your computer, and your fucking, you know, Blackberry.’" However, drug use may be something of a factor for the ruling. O’Connor was granted custody of Frances Bean Cobain in 2003 after Love’s overdose. Love also told Heeb that, though Frances Bean has "had some bad breaks while I was on drugs, but she never saw me on drugs."

It is a lot harder to hide drug use from a baby than a seventeen-year-old girl. Though we do not know for certain the reasons behind the court’s verdict, this may be the cause.

It’s almost as bad when you ask tag heuer watches voters how the law will affect them personally. There is lots of doubt and some considerable belief or hope that the new law won’t affect them
