Comic Nato Green Asks San Francisco Jews About Jewish Money

A few months ago, we showed you San Francisco comedian Nato Green hitting the town to ask random passers “why are Jews cheap?” It was – predictably – hilariously awkward (or, awkwardly hilarious. Take your pick.) But, it evidently left Green with more questions than answers. It seems that when it comes to Jews and money you’ve just got to go to the semitic source.

And so, braving last month’s, uh, not particularly wild-looking San Francisco JCC Purim party, Nato went once more into the breach. This time he talked actual Jews themselves about why we have so much money, and whether or not we own Hollywood (we do.). Here’s what he found:

Nato’s foray into the Jewish Question is part of the SFJCC’s 3200 Stories project, as well as their series, The Nato Sessions, which include conversations with graphic novelist Gerard Jones, author Ayelet Waldman, and legendary comic Mort Sahl.
