Caravan of Jewish Gays Get Hitched in Iowa City

The couples above may have had to go all the way to a dreary Iowa City church for the ceremony, but at least they got their weepy-weddings–chuppah and all. Yes they’re from Missouri, but as far as I’m concerned, the members of the Central Reform Congregation in St. Louis are at the center of the progressive-Jewish map. Now, if only the guy on the far right would just smile for the camera: It’s a gay wedding, not a gay funeral!

What do you think?

My two favorite demographics combined in one happy ceremony- it doesn’t get better than this! It’s kinda weird that it’s in Iowa but ill take it anywhere….
