Last month Sarah Silverman launched her plans to get out the Jewish vote in Florida. In Pennsylvania, the flavor of the month state for both candidates, a group calling itself the "Republican Federal Committee of PA – Victory 2008" delivered some mass communication of its own to the state’s Jewish population. The email, sent to 75,000 Jewish Pennsylvanians, compared an Obama victory to the rise of Hitler before the Holocaust, urging its recipients not to repeat the mistakes of their ancestors. Unlike Silverman’s campaign, the email was not targeted exclusively at Bubbes and Zaydes, but we’re decently sure even the most senile among us couldn’t be swayed by such loopy rhetoric.
