Paramount Pictures dropped the trailer for Jay Roach’s buddy comedy, Dinner for Schmucks. A seemingly straightforward remake of 1998’s slapsticky Le Diner de cons, this one’s about a yuppie stiff (Paul Rudd) who has to impress his evil boss (Bruce Greenwood) by bringing a total ass-clown (Steve Carell) as entertainment to the hefe’s estate one evening.
Sacha Baron Cohen was originally cast as the ass-clown, but, according to his IMDB, he’s been busy developing, like, six other movies.
Schmucks comes out August 20.
