Jewdar likes to scan the obits to see what Jews have died who’ve made their mark on American culture. Latest to reach his figurative 120 years is Leonard Stern, who, in addition to being a screenwriter, director and producer, was the co-creator of Mad Libs.
While they may not be as popular as they once were in an age of Ipods, DSes and minivan dvd players, Mad Libs still sell, and for decades have been a godsend for kids trying to kill time with a little fairly harmless juvenile humor, and their parents, too.
