It’s been a long time since jokes about Jews and Chinese food have been funny, but every now and then something comes along…like Xu Long, a Chinese chef who just published a giant tome entitled Money of Ancient Judea and Israel. Mazel tov for him and all, and he seems fairly affectionate towards the Tribe, but there’s a part of us that wonders if this didn’t begin with Xu trying to figure out what the worthless currency his Jewish customers paid him with was.
