At the red carpet premiere of You Don’t Mess With the Zohan, _Heeb_ correspondent Pamela Chelin discussed the never-ending quest for peace in the Middle East with Rob Schneider, who plays a Palestinian cabdriver named Salim in the film. Said Schneider:
"Hopefully the Israelis and the Palestinians will be equally offended and they’ll find it equally hilarious…. Hopefully, what will happen is, there’s no coincidence that in Northern Ireland they had peace at about the same time they had economic prosperity, so I am hoping the same thing will happen with Israelis and Palestinians. I wish ’em well."
