Here’s how it works – Comedians sit down, and tell a short story about their worst on-stage experiences. Simple, right? Sure, until Judd Apatow goes and turns his story into an example of life imitating art imitating life (or, is it vise versa?) by bombing at telling his own story about bombing.
Judd, you’re a hugely successful Hollywood player; You don’t need to sound quite so bummed just because Jon Stewart was funnier than you once. I mean, I get that your stock in trade is articulating the stunted emotional state of the modern man-child, but for chrissake, it’s alright now! Cheer up! You’ve made it!
