Jesse Jackson keeps putting his foot in his mouth when it comes to Obama. Back in June, the green-eyed monster reared its ugly head when Jackson said that he wanted to cut Obama’s balls off. This time, Jackson told reporters in France that an Obama presidency would bring big changes, including less attention to Israeli interests and decreased Zionist control in Washington. While Obama and his supporters have done just about everything from drinking lattes with Israeli officials, lunch at AIPAC, and moonlighting at the Wailing Wall, Jackson’s misspeak is just about the last thing my bubbe needs to hear.
The Obama camp was quick to respond to Jackson’s claims and remind us that he is in no position to comment on Obama’s political views. Jackson’s camp issued a statement today, which blamed the reporter for twisting his words.
