I’m not sure what bugs me more about Buzzfeed’s latest “X group does thing associated with Y group” video: Is it that it seems to be premised on the idea that people turn into babbling morons the moment they’re confronted with anything edible from outside our borders — OR — is it the fact that nearly every “Israeli snack” featured here is about as un-exotic and generically mass-produced as it gets?
Pudding with whipped cream on top? Flavored wheat crackers? Marshmallow on top of a cookie? My god! Where is the Oriental Xanadu from whence this came??
That said, I think we can all agree Bamba tastes like Skippy flavored shit.
