So guess what? Friday is the 13th, again! (Remember last month when it was Friday the 13th before Valentine’s Day? That was fun).
According to Wikipedia, which is a highly reliable source, we have three, count ‘em, three Friday the 13s this year, and you know what that means—three chances to premier terrible remakes of old horror movies. Last month it was, duh, Friday the 13th, this month it’s The Last House on the Left.
I myself will be attending Race to Witch Mountain, starring The Rock as a taxi driver who gets stuck babysitting two teen runaways with supernatural powers (of course, I am being sarcastic–there’s no way in hell I’m seeing that movie). Something tells me that, 30 years from now, this filmic fiasco won’t be premiering (again) on that unluckiest of days.
