Last summer I helped round up the cast of the 80s classic, The Last American Virgin, for a 25th anniversary screening at the New Beverly Cinema in Los Angeles. Writer/director Eli Roth, who has always praised LAV as a masterpiece, conducted the Q&A after the screening. Now, the the torture-porn helmer is planning a two-week film series at the New Bev.
From February 17 to March 1, the theater will play host to The Greats of Roth, a series of the filmmaker’s faves. Expect an array of titles, from rare, grindhouse fare (Cannibal Holocaust) to raunchy, Reagan-era romps (Zapped!) to comedic can’t-misses (Caddyshack).
Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for students.

More like a tushy-schtupp party. Basically watched everyone trade numbers at a bar and schmooze about industry stuff. Kinda gross.
