He may have pissed off the gays by "refusing" to take his picture with Gavin Newsom during the gay marriage media blitz, but Obama’s hoping to swing the left coast Jew-vote today with ads in the Los Angeles Jewish Journal and The J. The ads turn his "Yes We Can" campaign slogan into "Together We Can" in large type, followed by a list of what President Obama will do for Jews: ensure peace and security in Israel, end the war in Iraq, provide universal healthcare, improve security in the U.S. and the Middle East by ending America’s dependence on foreign oil. There’s also something in there about women’s rights. No word yet on how the ads in American Muslim Magazine read.
