As the nation still reels from the inconceivable evils that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School, one Arizona Republican wants the world to know that this wasn’t the work of a lone, mentally sick, gunman. No, who’s actually to blame? The Jews, of course.
Yes, Michael Harris, who ran, and lost, big, in the Arizona Republican Gubernatorial primary, and who has been identified by other news agencies as a former GOP campaign chair (Something yet to be independently verified), has been quoted as saying the attacks in Connecticut were “Israeli revenge” against the United States. Reportedly, Harris cited “inconsistencies” in the official Sandy Hook narrative, and claimed:
The facts are now becoming obvious. This is another case where Israel has chosen violence and terrorism where their bullying in Washington has failed. Israel believes the US “threw them under the bus,” particularly after the recent Gaza war, allowing Israel to be humiliated in the United Nations. Their response was to stage a terror attack, targeting America in the most hideous and brutal way possible, in fact, an Israeli “signature attack,” one that butchers children, one reminiscent of the attacks that killed so many children in Gaza?”
He then went on to say:
This is exactly what Israel did in Norway; the political party that voted sanctions against Israel was retaliated against by a “lone gunman” who killed 77 children. This is what Israel always does, they go after the children. It is what they do in Gaza every day. It is what was done in Norway. It is what happened at Sandy Hook. Nobody buys the “lone gunman” story anymore, not with the Gabby Giffords’ shooting, not with the Aurora “Batman” shooting, certainly not with Breveik, and certainly not in Connecticut
Everyone get that? Not only were ultra-super-duper-covert Israeli death squads responsible for the one of the worst massacres in the modern history of the US, they just might be responsible for every massacre in the modern history of the US (and Norway!)
Complicating matters is the fact that Harris’ quotes were given to PressTV, the English-language arm of Iran’s state-run media, who might, just might, have some vested interest in throwing shade Israel’s way. So, now we’re off and running with a crackpot story and an international audience. Super.
Look, Michael Harris has every right to be a crazy asshole (a right to he’s certainly availed himself with gusto) but when he falls back on the same old conspiracy theories and tired stereotypes he’s not only a crazy asshole. He’s a lazy one.

The headline for this article could only be more misleading if it read “Jews scientifically proven to be behind Sandy Hook shooting”. Micheal Harris is in no way an official for the republican party. He ran for governor, but was never in office.
My first thought was, “this guy must exchange pillow talk with Gordon Duff.”

It’s not emotional to cover this situation as follows: a deranged anti-Semitic asshole whose professional life is centered around a gutter-level online publication appeared on a discredited outlet of a totalitarian, citizen-torturing regime and provided his most fact-less yet detailed conspiracy theories. That’s four facts in one sentence, if anyone wants to do the math.
I would add that whether he was ever involved in GOP politics is about as meaningful to this debate as Dovid Weiss or Henry Makow are to any serious discussion of Jewish-related issues. A sane observer would not need to agree with many (or any) Republican policies to quickly ascertain that the kind of bigotry of this individual isn’t their stock in trade any more.

Here in Sweden where I live we have exactly the same kinds of semiliterates in politics and various other positions in the public arena. Or Mr. Illmar Reepalu, mayor of the city of Malmo: if the Jews here in Malmo no longer feel safe in this city or country, why don’t they simply distance themselves more from the official policies of the State of Israel?
