Schismatic Bishop and ex-excommunicant Richard Williamson is really the gift that keeps on giving. First, he denies the Holocaust right around the time the Pope readmits him to the Church. Then, he issues an apology in which not only does he fail to recant his views, but suggests many of his critics have ulterior motives. We particularly like the line in which he apologizes "to all souls that took honest scandal" from what he said [italics added], as well as the part about how his views were formed from evidence available 20 years ago, "and rarely expressed in public since." Is that a reference to his views that haven’t been expressed, or the evidence? And if the latter, why is that? Because it isn’t true, or because Jew-know-who keeps it suppressed.
Lest some think that Jewdar has gone off the deep end on this one, we leave you with one parting gift from the good prelate–when, in the wake of the tummel arising over his original comments, he decided to further educate himself on the subject, to whom did he turn? None other than Holocaust denier (and a court in Britain says we can use that term) eminence grise David Irving. And some of you thought he wasn’t sincere.
