Ben-Ami of the State

Besides being _Heeb_’s Humor Editor and premier entertainment reporter, Jewdar’s distinguished service with the American military has led to our recent promotion as _Heeb_’s Military Affairs Editor. It is in this capacity that we report that the U.S.–sorry, we military affairs types sometimes forget to drop the acronyms when we deal with civilians–the United States has announced the arrest of an octoJewnarian retired mechanical engineer on charges of spying for Israel. According to the reports, Ben-Ami Kadish (above), who did armaments research for the U.S. army and had the same handler as Jonathan Pollard, gave the Israelis classified information on a number of weapons systems. Nobody knows where or how this will end, but Jewdar is waiting with metaphoric popcorn (still Passover, after all) to see how this is dealt with by GW Bush, who many Jews bizarrely revere as being the best President ever for the Jewish State.

What do you think?

What did Bush do for the Middle East “peace” process during the bulk of his Presidency…are we saying he’s the “best” simply because he doesn’t like Arabs?
Are there actually people who believe that Bush has made the world safer for Israel (or America fo

Puck, there is a strong element within the hawkish pro-Israel community that always believed that whoever let Israel do whatever she wanted the most was the most pro-Israel.

This recent president kinda proved that doesn’t do all that much good either.

there are many who agree that Bush is far from the “best.”
Like all of those people who give Bush the highest disapproval rating that any President has been given ( Gallup Poll ) in 70 years.
