Holy hell is Kutiman just fan-fuggin-tastic, or what?
The brains behind 2009’s ThruYOU mashup masterpiece is back with a new track following his time in Poland for the 2012 Jewish Culture Festival. In classic Kutiman fashion, Thru Krakow is a “music video” in the truest sense of the term: a seamless pastiche of both sounds and sights – in this case the music and images Kutiman encountered during his time in Poland. The result is a hypnotic groove that’s equal parts funk, dub, jazz, klezmer, and Balkan brass. It looks gorgeous, and it sounds gooooood.
