Tarantino Gave Cloris Leachman the Axe

First the Broadway version of Young Frankenstein, now this–Cloris Leachman’s role was cut from Inglourious Basterds, apparently for space. (Watch Cloris’s Press Conference After the Jump)

Leachman says that the film was "was way, way, way too long" and that her character was not missed in final version.

She doesn’t seem that broken up about the omission, which isn’t that surprising considering she doesn’t seem to remember what movies she’s involved in (see above clip). Also, I guess there’s always another season of Dancing with the Stars.
