Starring: Seth Rogen as mall cop Ronnie Barnhardt
Every girl is crazy for dudes in uniform: firemen, pilots, Sgt. Pepper (or maybe that’s just me…) But you gotta admit, cops take the cake in terms of strong male archetypes. And lucky for any girl out there who digs the Jews, Seth Rogen will soon be flashing across screens all over the U.S. attired in that most iconic of get-ups. Yeah, he’s not a real cop and he’s a total fuck-up, but something tells me that he ends up saving the day, getting the girl and cracking a lot of jokes in the process.
The Successful Dude
Starring: Paul Rudd as Peter Klaven
What girl doesn’t want a sugar daddy? (Or, in this economy, a guy with an actual, real-life job.) In this hilarious film, Paul Rudd appears as a real estate agent, which means he will probably talk on a cell phone while wearing a suit at some point. Maybe there will even be a briefcase…Swoon. (Still, points off for the bromantic theme… Maybe more of a Friday night fling than a full-blown commitment?)
