Smoke Weed, Help a Holocaust Survivor

Next time you’re in Israel and you hear somebody mention “getting stoned,” they won’t necessarily mean it in the Biblical sense (I.e., burying you to your neck in sand and throwing rocks at your head). They could just be a member of what is apparently a new pro-marijuana political party and looking for support to legalize pot in the Promised Land. Maybe not such a bad idea. After all, have you ever actually tried to eat milk and honey together? You pretty much have to be high.

Whatever the outcome of the effort, the new political party definitely gets the award for most creative use of Jewish guilt– claiming that preventing the use of marijuana denies Holocaust Survivors a life of dignity. If you can tack on some hookers and blow, I might have to consider becoming a party member. But I’d only be doing it for the Survivors, of course.

What do you think?

I say they are denying the grandchildren of holocaust survivors a life of dignity. Do you know how ashamed you feel after buying hashish from a random arab? Pull a cali, legalize it.
