Watch as Shalom Auslander, author of Foreskin’s Lament and the upcoming release, Hope: A Tragedy, calls Ira Glass to ask him if he will commit to hiding him in his attic if the Nazis take over. Glass is a little confused, since he himself is Jewish, but realizes that as hard as it is to fathom, he is simply the least Jewish person Auslander has in his network with whom to secure such contingency plans.

It’s a farce, and comes across as forced and contrived. I think Shalom and Ira are both creative and smart and expect something a bit more developed from both of ‘em.
