I was totally shocked that Scarlett Johansson’s album of Tom Waits covers, Anywhere I Lay My Head, didn’t totally suck. But I gotta say, I am going to approach her follow-up, Break Up, with a lot of caution. For some reason, I’m really not that into the idea of a collaboration with Pete Yorn on a bunch of songs that are described as "Serge Gainsbourg/Brigitte Bardot-style duets."
