Yup–Solomon Dwek is no longer welcome at Shabbat dinner. Dwek has garnered a lot of press as of late for being the snitch in everyone’s favorite Jewish money-laundering scheme. He’s also managed to royally piss of his dad, Rabbi Isaac Dwek.
Dwek Sr. delivered a "blistering speech" at the Deal Synagogue (where he is senior rabbi) last Saturday against Jews informing on other Jews. Then, to top it all off, conducted a class with Rabbi Nachum, who was arrested as part of the sting.
That’s right–allegedly steal a ton of money, and gain the sympathy of an entire congregation. Work with the FBI, and earn your family’s scorn. I guess no one likes a rat.
