The once perky New England Patriots’ cheerleader Caitlin Davis proved to be, well, less perky last week when pictures of the 18 year-old surfaced on her Facebook profile drawing penises, swastikas and the apparently derogatory phrase "I’m a Jew" on a drunken party-goer.
When Patriot’s team owners Bob and Myra Kraft, who are huge in the Anti-Defamation League, caught wind of the incident, Davis was immediately sacked from the team. “She is no longer with the squad,” said Stacey James, a spokesman for the Patriots.
"Me and my girls left the dorm and went to another house and came back to the kid passed out on the futon we were suppose to sleep on," Davis told TMZ about the incident. "The guys ended up drawing more on him due to the fact that he was the first one to pass out on Halloween night …
"At the time I had jumped in the picture with the kid. I didn’t realize what had been drawn on him, which I take responsibility for not being alert."
Apparently she and her girls also weren’t alert to the fact there is a privacy setting on Facebook.
