Julia Kugel plays the guitar and sings with The Coathangers, an all-female, post punk rock band whose debut album, Scramble—packed with aggressive guitars and even more aggressive lyrics—is reminiscent of an all-night bender that ends with burning vocal chords, broken glass and a whole lot of regrets.
