It’s Not Easy Being a Christian Conservative These Days

FIrst, a Black President. Next, a Black Jesus.

Sascha Baron Cohen’s upcoming film, Bruno, reportedly introduces us to a character named "Jesus," a black model who wears a loincloth. Apparently, religious members of the test audiences in the US don’t seem to be too thrilled about the character.

Though I generally tend to offer unilateral support for any joke pointed at the Religious Right, I can’t help but think: Haven’t we seen this joke before?
