In this week’s “_New York_ Mag”:http://nymag.com/movies/features/38323/, Gwyneth Paltrow talks about playing an overbearing pain in the ass in brother Jake’s first film “_The Good Night_”:http://www.thegoodnightfilm.com/, which hit theaters this past Friday.

“It was me physicalizing my New York Jewish half,” she mused.

Forgive me if I do a bit of armchair psychology, but Paltrow (who’s made a career out of signifying shiksa in all of its magnificent gradations of goldenness) seems to suggest that when you complain a lot and hyper-scrutinize life’s minutiae you are somehow “acting Jewish.”

We could’ve told her that, like, five years ago.
