Half Baked: Pundits Weigh In On Roseanne’s Cookies

The yentas on The View and Bill O’Reilly have entered the fray in the Roseanne Barr cookie controversy. While the national debate continues to rage as to whether these photos "crossed a line," my internal debate focuses on whether it’s funnier to hear Bill O’Reilly or Whoppie Goldberg utter the phrase “burnt Jew cookie” with a straight face. I’ll let you decide for yourself.

    Not funny, Roseanne. I’m not laughing.
    It’s been several days since you came out with the cookie thing and I remain deeply offended. I’m not Jewish but I love many Jewish people personally and all Jewish people in the humanitarian sense.

    Comforting to note that there are gentiles who are sensitive enough to the thousands of years of Jewish persecution that they would have us “herded onto a train and sent off to a concentration camp” when we address those thousands of years in unusual ways
