May 20th marked the release of Wolfenstein: The New Order, and the auspicious return of badass yid, Nazi killer extraordinaire and serial captive/escapee of Castle Wolfenstein, B.J. Blazkowicz. But after nearly 33 years of X-ing off Nazis, Mutants, and Mecha-Hitlers, it stands to reason there’d be some convoluted history surrounding just who Blazkowicz is, and why the hell he keeps going back to the Third Reich’s secret occult castle.
Thankfully, the folks at polygon whipped up this quick video-primer that explains everything you need to know about Blazkowicz, Wolfenstein, and those pesky robotic fuhrers.
