Dov Charney, the American Apparel entrepreneur everyone loves to hate, is back on the chopping block this week in the Upright Citizens Brigade‘s new mocumentary, American Apparel: Everyday Sexy. In the sketch, a very realistic looking "Charney" slowly undresses as he shoots a new ad campaign targeting his next demographic: Middle America.
The sad thing about this sketch is that–with the way irony has infiltrated the fashion industry–the tragically hip followers of the AA brand will probably take it seriously. Get ready for beer bellies and Mom haircuts on the catwalks.
