His work has appeared in The Atlantic, Vibe, The Source, The Huffington Post, Prefix, and many other outlets. In addition, he hosts the weekly podcast Outside the Lines With Rap Genius, where he has interviewed a wide range of rappers, academics, media figures, and poets. He is also a bassist and guitarist who performs with various bands and artists around New York City. He lives in Brooklyn with his partner Nicole and a cat on Prozac.
