Remember when we told you about those rumors that Apple was looking to buy Israeli uber-app Waze? Of course you do, it was yesterday, and your attention span isn’t that bad is it?
Well, even if it is, it looks like you’re not missing out on anything. As Business Insider, citing both Techcrunch (who broke the original story, yesterday) and CNET, reported this afternoon – Apple’s Waze interest is nothing more than internet flummery. Apple is (totally, seriously) not going to buy Waze. Just forget it, folks. Not gonna happen. Nu-uh.
So, there you have it – Rumor: quashed. Looks like iOS maps will continue to suck without any Israeli interference, after all.
